End of Summer Vacation
It’s been one busy summer. I started school with the kids and then we took a week-long trip to Hershey, PA. for a family event. The kids were great, so we rewarded them with a trip to Hershey Park. Dominic doesn’t care for amusement parks — too many people, he doesn’t ride rides— but Isabella loved it. She got on every coaster except for two. I felt bad that she lost her favorite headband on one of the coasters. If she had liked the ride, it might have been worth it, but she didn’t even like that coaster. The rain that day was a bit of a struggle, but natives said it was definitely needed.
Since Dominic doesn’t like the amusement parks, we brought him to a Lego Brickhead store on our way home. He was in his highest glory. We got him a couple of Disney 100 blind bags. Out of the two, he only got one new figure. Every time he gets hooked on another set, I commend the marketing idea … and wish I created it! 😀
Now we’re back to the grind. In addition to homeschooling my kiddos, my next favorite job right now is writing books for my readers. I am so happy to report that I have many moving parts taking place behind the scenes to get my books in your hands digitally and physically. There is a survey, if you haven’t already taken it, that will help me make the best informed decisions. It should only take a min or two of your time. I’m so grateful to my subscribers, readers, and followers. Thank you! Click here for the survey
I hope you enjoy your week. Anyone doing any fun fall activities? Feel free to comment below.
